“GGateway for Outsourcing Information Technology” is a social enterprise registered as a Private Limited Entity (Pltd.) founded in Gaza in January 2016 after 2 years of piloting work in UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency). GGateway works as a non-profit entity and in accordance with its mission reinvests any surplus in accordance with its mission, vision, principles, and values in order to realize its objectives. GGateway offers customized and competitive ICT business outsourcing services to clients worldwide. At the same time, GGateway enables young ICT graduates from universities in Gaza to access professional opportunities in a learning environment, and enhances the ICT sector in Gaza by providing qualified labour and business opportunities. GGateway services such as but not limited to Data Management, Process Improvement, Training Material Development, Software Testing and Application Development. GGateway also runs a vibrant and innovative freelancing platform (GHub), a co-working space equipped with the IT infrastructure fostering collaboration and knowledge transfer to create professional ICT communities. GGateway is supported by UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency).
The Technical Training opportunities for ICT female Graduates are implemented with a generous contribution from “Basque Agency for Development cooperation” via an UNRWA project. GGateway is one of this project implementers including many other components. Through these components, UNRWA aims to specifically engage in a range of activities in order to improve the socio-economic conditions of women this is the proposed intervention focuses on building women’s ICT graduates capacity and improves their access to employment.

Position #1: English Language Trainer
Position Title: BASQUE English Language Trainer (BASQUE ELT)
Grade: Project Staff
Department: Social Mission Department
Supervisor: Social Mission Manager

Job Purpose: Under BASQUE Phase IV Project within the Capacity Building Program of the Enterprise. The English Language Trainer is responsible for the design and delivery of high-quality English language – ICT Business Based training programs that enhances trainees’ communication competence in English language in professional contexts.
Functions and Responsibilities:
In accordance with the donor’s and the Enterprise policy and procedures, the BASQUE English Language Trainer will:
- Work with the Capacity Building Team on defining coherent ICT/Business English Language training topics such as formal client communication customized by the latest concepts in ICT/Business.
- Develop and deliver innovative English language – ICT Business based training program and self-learning tools and activities that respond to trainees’ skills level differences.
- Perform training need assessments for trainees and create and deliver training and skills development solutions to raise performance standards.
- Define the best training methodologies and resources in order to create an interactive dynamic teaching approach which allows trainees’ to communicate easily using the English language.
- Conduct quality assurance monitoring and evaluation to ensure training effectiveness across training activities, measuring the tangible impact of training conducted.
- Evaluate trainees’ abilities and provide full recommendations in this regard about their abilities and their future learning and capacity building plans related to the provided training.
- Provide recommendations for online courses links and resources from accredited online training platforms.
- Implement the project activities in line with technical and budgetary requirements in compliance with the Enterprise and the Basque Project requirements.
- Assure that high quality and professional implementation of the training and for the project are up to the Enterprise Capacity Building standards.
- Assure that high quality and professional implementation of the Basque Project are in accordance with the activities with its stakeholders.
- Ensure proper baseline data collection as well as end-line data collection in line with the evaluation strategy.
- Ensure that all training documentation remains up to date with all training material and trainees’ documents and any others.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Professional Qualifications
- Academic and Professional Qualifications: University degree in English Education, English Literature or any other related field.
- Professional Experience: At least 5-10 year experience in designing and implementing English Language trainings and workshops.
- Knowledgeable about the Information and Communication Technology Industry is a must.
Position #2: English Language Coach
Position Title: BASQUE English Language Coach (BASQUE ELC)

Job Purpose: Under BASQUE Phase IV Project within the Capacity Building Program of the Enterprise. The English Language Coach is responsible for delivering a structured English language – ICT Business Based coaching that enhances Basque trainees’ communication competence in English language in professional contexts.
Functions and Responsibilities:
In accordance with the donor’s and the Enterprise policy and procedures, the BASQUE English Language Coach will:
- Work with the Capacity Building Team on defining coherent ICT/Business English Language coaching topics such as formal client communication customized by the latest concepts in ICT/Business.

Position #3: Freelancing Trainer
Position Title: BASQUE Freelancing Trainer (BASQUE FR)

Job Purpose: Under BASQUE Phase IV Project within the Capacity Building Program of the Enterprise. The Freelancing Trainer is responsible for the design and implementation of Freelancing training program that enhances trainees’ economic status through obtaining online jobs from freelancing platforms and other online sources in professional contexts.
Functions and Responsibilities:
In accordance with the donor’s and the Enterprise policy and procedures, the BASQUE Freelancing Trrainer will:
- Work with the Social Mission Team on defining the Freelancing training topics, contents and methodologies to cover different freelancing ways and platforms.
- Conduct different researches to define the best training methodologies and resources in order to create an interactive learning environment for the Enterprise trainees to comply with its lifelong learning environment.
- Assist in trainees’ selection process and documentation for the BASQUE training.
- Perform training need assessments for trainees and create and deliver training and skills development solutions to raise performance standards.
- Deliver the freelancing training to 30 ICT graduates in two groups.
- Design and implement tools to measure the training impact and to provide individual recommendation for the trainees.
- Evaluate trainees’ technical abilities and provide full recommendations in this regard about their abilities and their future learning and capacity building plans related to the provided training.
- Provide recommendations for online courses links and resources from accredited online training platforms.
- Structure and maintain freelancing training library.
- Implement the project activities in line with technical and budgetary requirements in compliance with the Enterprise and the BASQUE Project requirements.

Position Title: BASQUE Freelancing Coach (BASQUE FC)

Job Purpose: Under BASQUE Phase IV Project within the Capacity Building Program of the Enterprise. The Freelancing Coach is responsible for the design and implementation of Freelancing coaching sessions with 30 freelancers that supports freelancers’ in the process of obtaining online jobs from freelancing platforms and in their career development.
Functions and Responsibilities:
In accordance with the donor’s and the Enterprise policy and procedures, the BASQUE Freelancing Coach will:
- Work with the Social Mission Team on defining the Freelancing coaching topics, contents and methodologies to cover different freelancing ways and platforms.
- Conduct different researches to define the best coaching methodologies and resources in order to create an interactive learning environment for the Enterprise trainees to comply with its lifelong learning environment.
- Based on the Evaluation results and recommendations of the freelancing trainer; the Coach must build up skills development solutions to raise performance standards.
- Deliver the freelancing coaching sessions to 30 ICT freelancers according to pre-defined development plan for each freelancer.
- Design and implement tools to measure the coaching impact and to provide individual recommendation for the trainees.
- Evaluate trainees’ technical abilities and provide full recommendations in this regard about their abilities and their future learning and capacity building plans related to the provided coaching.
- Provide recommendations for online courses links and resources from accredited online training platforms.
- Structure and maintain freelancing coaching library.
- Implement the project activities in line with technical and budgetary requirements in compliance with the Enterprise and the BASQUE Project requirements.

- Produce the training material and related resources for the ICT technical training sessions.
- Deliver the technical training sessions in four continuous weeks for ICT graduates.
- Design and implement tools to measure the training impact and to provide individual recommendation for the trainees.
- Conduct technical assessment for trainees and provide related recommendation on their technical development plans.
- Provide recommendations for online courses links and resources from accredited online training platforms.

Professional Qualifications

- At least 3-10 years’ experience in designing and implementing technical training and workshops.
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in one of the following technologies: (ASP.net MVC, mobile development (IOS/ Android), Graphic design and SharePoint).
- Proficient in MS Office applications (word processing, spread sheet, etc.).
- Excellent research skills.
- Language: Excellent English and Arabic
