Training of Trainers Program
in the preparation of business plans for small enterprises using
the methodology of:
Competency Based Economies, Formation of Enterprises (CEFE)

Small Enterprise Center Association (SEC) is willing to conduct a Training of Trainers Program in the preparation of business plans for small enterprises using the methodology of CEFE. For those who pass the training program success-fully, SEC will hire them as full time trainers for a one-year contract with the possibility of extension.

SEC Mission
To promote the enhancement of a conductive environment for MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) devel-opment, increasing their potentials for growth and sustain-ability through tailor-made solutions addressed for their immediate and long-term needs.

Introduction to CEFE
CEFE stands for Competency based Economies, Formation of Enterprises. It is an entrepreneurship training concept for small and medium scale enterprises development , which was developed and promoted by the GIZ (formerly GTZ). CEFE Training Methodology
The CEFE programme is anchored on an action learning methodology where participants play an active role in simu-lation exercises, role – plays, field studies and experience sharing. The uniqueness of the CEFE training methodology is that the facilitators do not spoon – feed the participants, rather, the participants themselves derive the learning points of the various training activities.

CEFE Training Course Content
The training content cover:  entrepreneurial competences, business idea generation & selection, market and marketing skills, production and organization plan, financial plan and business coaching skills.

Training Course Objectives
SEC aims at training and qualifying a group of trainers to make them capable of preparing business plans and feasibil-ity studies in addition to enhance their skills in the field of business establishment and coaching.

Pre- conditions for joining the training
Applicants should meet the following requirements:

-Certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, Ac-counting, Finance, Economics, agricultural engineering (or experience in the field of agriculture) or any relevant field.
-At least 2 years of work experience in business plan development or training.
-Willingness and commitment to conduct trainings using CEFE methodology after the ToT.
-Willingness and commitment to sign a working agreement with SEC at least for one year after the ToT.
-Good level in English Language
-Ability to attend the ToT in Cairo for 12 days (A valid passport is requested)
-Willingness to pay the nominal training fees ($ 400)

Training Duration
96 training hours
12 days, at least 8 hours/day

Expected Training Period
The training will be  conducted in May 2013, selected partct-pants will be informed of the exact date.

Arabic

Certificate
A certificate will be handed out at the end of the ToT to partici-pants.

Fees
Nominal fees per participant ($ 400). The Fees include training, accommodation and travel transportation.
