in the preparation of business plans using
the methodology of:
Competency Based Economies, Formation of Enterprises (CEFE)

Brief Program Description
The Small Enterprise Center Association (SEC) in cooperation with CEFE International is planning to conduct a Training of Trainers Qualification Program in the preparation of business plans for small enterprises based on CEFE methodology.

Aim of the Program
The training program enhances the participants’ competencies in business plans development, improves their skills in marketing, management and financial topics, supports them in shaping their business ideas, and shows the importance of preparing business plans before starting businesses.

Introduction to CEFE
CEFE stands for Competency based Economies, Formation of Enterprises. It is a comprehensive training concept and methodology to strengthen entrepreneurs and key business competencies needed for a successful start and career as entrepreneurs, employees, and managers in an enterprise-friendly society.  CEFE was developed and promoted by the GIZ (formerly GTZ). CEFE program is anchored on an action learning methodology where participants perform several interactive simulations that provide the opportunity to sit on both sides of the table, as participants and as trainers. Carefully constructed exercises face-­to-­face training, peer learning and field coaching. The course will bring the CEFE methodology to life, the pace of these exercises is fast, the atmosphere realistic, and the results highly rewarding.


CEFE Training Course Content
The training course content covers:  Business Development, business coaching skills, trainers’ preparation, exercises in: business idea generation & selection, market and marketing skills, production and organization plan and financial plan

Who Should Attend?
This training is targeting interested project staff, freelancers, and higher education teachers working in: private sector, private sector institutions, local and international NGOs, financial institutions, consulting companies.

Pre- conditions for joining the training
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
-Certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, Ac-counting, Finance, Economics, Agricultural   Engineering (or experience in the field of agriculture) or any relevant field.
-Good level in English Language
-Willingness to pay the nominal training fees ($3,000)
-Only who pass the selection interview will join the ToTs Program.
-Ability to attend the ToT in Amman for 12 days (A valid passport is requested)

Training Duration
96 training hours
12 days, 8 training hours plus individual preparation. So, there will be no day off inbetween?

Expected Training Period
The training will be held in the first week of December 2014, selected participants will be informed of the exact date.

Targeted participants
20 to 26 participants

Training Course Language
English

Certificate
A certificate of attendance will be handed out at the end of the ToT to participants.

To finalize the formation of trainers’ process under international standards, the ToT participants have to organize in a group of two people a training course of four days, which will be super-vised by coach. After a successful evaluation of the trainee during ToT and coaching, he/she will receive a CEFE Interna-tional trainer license.

Fees
Fees per participant is ($US 3,000). The fees include training fees, training materials, hotel accommodation, food and beverage.
