MA’AN DEVELOPMENT CENTER
MA’AN Development Center is seeking qualified candidates for the position of :
Training Specialist / Coordinator
Location: Gaza
Duration: 8 months with possibility of extension
Job Purpose:
The Training Specialist/ Coordinator will be responsible administratively and technically for the life skills & capacity building training programme, including the planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluation.
The coordinator will also work with a team to carry out these activities according to the training best
practices to achieve the goals and objectives of a project that targets 100 youth centres in WBGS
Major Duties:
-Responsible for accomplishing the capacity building programme and its objectives required
within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards.
-Assist in identifying and assessing training needs of adolescents in the targeted centres.
-Prepare and coordinate the training schedule with trainers, trainees and the centre’s coordinators.
-Select and assign trainers to conduct training according to MA’AN’s procedures.
-Facilitate the execution of all training plans and participate, where needed, in conducting training sessions.
-Document all the training activities manually and electronically.
-Ensure the quality of training implemented in the youth centres.
-Coordinate with the selected trainers to develop the life skills manual.
-Ongoing supervision, monitoring and evaluation of training materials and courses including budgets.
-Prepare the contracts and ToRs for the trainers.
-Monitoring, tracking and reporting project progress for MA’AN.
REQUIREMENTS:
-BA with 4 years experience or MA with 2 years in business, management, development or social studies or other related fields. Preferably with experience working for an NGO.
-Professional training knowledge.
-Outstanding communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
-Experience in monitoring and evaluation.
-Leadership, teambuilding and cooperation abilities
-Planning and time management skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
-Fluency in Arabic and English and the ability to write reports in both languages
-High level of interpersonal skills and integrity.
-Ability to use project management tools.
-Willingness to work under stress and a heavy workload and the ability to solve problems.
-Willingness to travel to all districts of the WB/GS.
