Translator

The MEDICOS DEL MUNDO – SPAIN (MDM) is a humanitarian, non-governmental organization
looking for qualified applications for the following vacant position in Jericho district according to the
following qualifications.

Position: Translator (Full time)
Duration: This position will start with a temporary contract for a initial 6 month period (changes are possible, according to the needs and the context)

Qualifications and skills:
-University Degree
-Perfect English written and spoken
-Very good Spanish would be highly appreciate
-At least one year of working experience
-Good computer skills in Microsoft Office
-Experience on Mental health, psycho-social field or health would be appreciate

MAIN DUTIES:
-To assist the MDM team in office work and to provide translation of administrative documents
-To assist the MDM Mental Health Coordinator in translation English – Arab (and vice versa) during meetings and interviews
-To assist the MDM Mental Health Coordinator in the drafting, implementation and follow-up of the activities
-To write reports on the activities in cooperation with the MDM team
-To work in collaboration with Primary Health Care staff
