Translator-Interpreter

Médecins du Monde (MDM) France is an international medical organization, which has been present in the Palestinian territories since 1995. It operates in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank through offices located in Jerusalem, Gaza and Nablus.
For the increase of its activities in the Nablus Governorate, MDM is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the positions of.

Position: Translator-Interpreter
Duration: 12 Month –renewable.

Qualifications and skills:
-University or relevant Education as TranslatorInterpreter..
-Fluency in Speaking and Writing both Arabic and English , French would be an asset.
-Proven work experience as professional translator preferable with NGOs.
-Professional IT skills
-Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
-High confidentiality.
-Proper knowledge in Medical terminologies would be an asset.

Main duties:
-Translate written documents between English or French and Arabic
-Translate simultaneously between English or French and Arabic during meetings, trainings etc
-Contribute regularly to the building up of terminological data bases and useful references materials.
-Assist with other administration and secretary duties.
