Translator (short period)

 
Médecins du Monde France (MDM-F) is an international medical organization, which has been present in the Palestinian Territories since 1995 and in the Gaza Strip since 2002.
 
MDM-F is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate as:
Translator, Gaza (service contract).
 
Period: between 10 days to 20 days.
 
Main duties
 
-In accordance with NGO policy andprocedures, the ideal candidate will be under the supervisor of the MDM-F consultant:
-Translate documents and oral translation with the MMD-F external consultant from English into Arabic and vice versa; main subject of the assessment:  “Reproductive Health”.
-Assists in preparing & organizing for visits tovarious Locations in the Gaza Strip to follow the assessment .
-The candidate may be required to work beyond theregular working hours.
-Performs such other duties as may beassigned

Requirements

-English language proficiency both spoken andwritten.
-At least BA diploma in English language, translation or a related field.
-At least 2 years experience in Oral and written translationwork in Arabic/ English and vice versa.
-Experience or background in health sector domain and services is an asset.
-Ability to work under pressure .
-Ability to move in and between Gaza strip.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
