Job summary:

Bayader, in partnership with International Medical Corps (IMC) is seeking to implement Supporting community resilience against COVID-19 through community-based activities. This project comes under the umbrella of a USAID-funded project implemented by IMC that aims at mitigating the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the health system and vulnerable populations in Gaza and supporting community resilience through integrated health facilities and community-based health services. Bayader is seeking highly skilled staff to be hired for the following position:

Position Title: Triage Station Worker (Full Time) (موظف/ة محطة فرز كورونا)

# of Position Available: 1

Place: Bayader Office, Khan Younis

Reports To: Project Coordinator (PC)

Period: 7 Months

Key Responsibilities:

Perform nursing procedures safely and efficiently.
Performing assessments on incoming patients for COVID-19 evaluate their symptoms and providing advice if necessary.
Identification and separation of suspected COVID-19 patients
Ensure triage process is implemented correctly to prevent COVID-19 transmission among patients and healthcare workers
Refer suspected patients to healthcare centers

متطلبات الوظيفة

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor/Diploma degree in Nursing with a minimum grade: Good
A registered nurse.
At least one year of relevant work experience.
Good spoken and written English and Arabic and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong collaborative skills to work effectively and cooperatively with others and establish and maintain good working relationships.
Vaccinated.
