The TVET Performance Improvement Officer will in conjunction with the TVET Performance Improvement Manager, implement a strategy to ensure TVET institutions are more responsive to the labor market needs, and that they incorporate relevant skills and competencies into their training program. The TVET Performance Improvement Officer will serve as primarily liaison for two or more assigned TVET institutions and work collaboratively to support and monitor their engagement.

Your Background & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Economics, International Development, social sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in technical and vocational education strengthening, workforce development, youth development, and/or private sector engagement in Palestine or the MENA region.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience coordinating and implementing donor funded projects.
- Understanding of the economic, educational, and youth contexts in Palestine.
- Familiarity with best practices in youth programming.
- Demonstrated success in working with educational institutions; this include establishing or strengthening ties with the private sector and developing training or curriculum for TVET instructors.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including youth, government ministries and officials, NGOs, donors, the private sector, and community-based institutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong representational and organizational skills.
- Commitment to inclusive programming that encourages full participation of individual regardless of gender, disability status, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or other marginalized status.
- Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
- You must have unrestricted authorization to work in Palestine.

This position is eligible for Telework. The eligible employee is a regular, full-time Ramallah-based staff who works from a worksite outside the Ramallah office for one or more days a week.
This position is not eligible for Immigration Sponsorship.
