UI/UX Developer

Position Title: UI/UX Developer

Your Job: Leverage your skills & expertise to create market-leading UIs and enhanced user

Your Responsibilities:
-Create clean, efficient designs for use by non-technical clients: Define user experiences,
including storytelling, personas, process flows and interactions.
-Create use cases, information architecture/wireframes, site/system maps, storyboards
and other visual artifacts to capture requirements and project vision.
-Streamline the design of new and existing applications to ensure accessible use in lowtechnology
and low-bandwidth environments.
-Create reports on user experiences, user stories and requirement assessments.
-Provide ongoing technical support to partner staff on component roll-out.

Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science.
-Minimum 2 years’ experience developing complex rich mobile/web user interfaces and
components.
-Experience creating standard mockup tools and flow diagram applications.
-Good knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools (eg. Axure, InVision).
-Strong experience using JS frameworks (jQuery, AngularJS, or similar) and design
patterns. Strong experience with AJAX, JSON, XML.
-Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
-Expertise in online front-end design (HTML5, Javascript, CSS3).
-Development experience with hybrid technologies such as Worklight, Apache Cordova
(Phone Gap).
-Experience with unit testing using frameworks such as QUnit, DOH, Selenium or similar.
-Ability to create detailed, readable reports on UX functionalities of applications.
-Experience implementing projects using Agile development practices.
-Fluent English: Must be able to interact with English-speaking partners by phone/email.
-Able to work daily (Sun – Thurs) in Ramallah, and on evenings and weekends if needed.
-Able to work independently, without direct daily supervision.
