Unity 3D Developer

We are seeking a skilled Unity 3D Developer to deliver an innovative web-based application. This role requires expertise in Unity WebGL, a solid foundation in C# scripting, and experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. As a Unity Developer, you’ll play a key role in building essential interactive features, optimizing performance for the web, and coordinating with frontend, backend, and DevOps teams to support an efficient development and deployment pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Unity Development and Scripting: Use Unity and C# scripting to build interactive 3D applications focusing on physics-based object interactions and user-friendly controls.
• WebGL Deployment and Optimization: Prepare and optimize Unity WebGL builds, ensuring high performance and compatibility across web browsers.
• UI and Interaction Design: Develop basic in-simulation UI elements and controls using Unity’s UI system, coordinating with frontend teams for broader UI integration.
• 3D Asset Management: Import, optimize, and manage 3D models and materials to meet web performance standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with frontend, backend, mobile, and DevOps teams to integrate application functionality and streamline deployment workflows.
• User Input Handling: Implement interactive features, such as clicks, drags, and physics-based input, to enhance user experience and usability.

Requirements

• Experience with Unity, focusing on WebGL applications and interactive 3D environments.
• Strong skills in C# scripting, including MonoBehaviour and Unity’s physics engine.
• Experience with WebGL build settings and performance optimizations specific to web deployment.
• Proficiency with Unity’s UI tools to build minimal in-application interfaces.
•  Ability to manage and optimize 3D models and textures for efficient, high-performance web experiences.
• Experience working with other teams (e.g., frontend, backend, DevOps) to align development efforts and facilitate integrations.
