The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of:

Analyst / Programmer
1-Duty Station : Support Services Office (SSO – Ramallah)
Barrier Monitoring Unit.
Vacancy No. 019/2010/X
2-Grade & Salary : LDC Contract Band “F” : 923.60 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
3-Allowances : Dependency Allowances payable and other benefits (Medical Insurance) & Currency Adjustment Factor
4-Qualifications:
-A university degree in Computer Science, Business Administration with a major in or focus on Information Technology, or other related discipline;
-Formal training in systems development tools and techniques.
-Four years experience in the area of software applications development and implementation, one year of which must be in web applications development using ASP.Net and MS SQL Server.
-Good command of spoken and written English.
-Good communications skills;
-Ability to plan, prioritize and organize own work even while under pressure;
-Training skills and ability to make clear presentations;
-Team spirit and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience in implementing multi-user systems;
-Experience of application design and development in client-server environment on MS Windows platform;
-Experience or knowledge of applications development using MS-Access and development of reports using Crystal Reports;
-Experience or knowledge of HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, object-oriented analysis and design.
-Knowledge of Data collection methodologies
-A valid driving license
