1-Vacancy No. : 018/2010/X
2-Duty Station : Field Office - Jerusalem
3-Basic Salary : 758.51 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the
                  Agency. NIS 510 as Jerusalem Allowance payable in JD at exchange
                  rates set by the Agency.
4-Allowances   : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
5-Other Benefits : Health Insurance, Provident Fund

6-Qualifications:
-University degree in Sociology, Psychology, Special Education or related discipline.
-Post graduate training in the rehabilitation of the disabled, acceptable to the Field Office
Director and Director of Relief and Social Services. A through knowledge and understanding of the Palestine refugee community customs, habits, traditions and religions.
-Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic, and ability to communicate effectively in these languages.
-Four years of satisfactory and progressively more responsible working experience in the social, educational and medical rehabilitation of the disabled.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
-Must be highly motivated to work with the disabled, and able to mobilize the energies and enthusiasm of others involved in the programme.
-Will be required to travel extensively throughout the Field and must therefore possess a driving license for passenger cars.

-Appointment to this post is subject to probationary period of one year. Upon satisfactory completion
of this period, appointment will be confirmed subject to continuing need for the post.
-With their prior agreement, candidates who are approved as suitable for appointment but are not the selected candidate for this vacancy, will be placed on the Agency’s roster of pre-approved candidates for a period of up to one year, and may be considered for future vacancies in the same position. The Agency maintains the discretion to fill future vacancies for this position from the roster without readvertising the vacancy.
