The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of:
Field/Programme Business Process

1-Duty Station: Field Office Jerusalem
Business Process Management/Enterprise-Resources
Planning. Vacancy No. 093/09/X

2-Grade & Salary : LDC Contract Band “G”
1138.60 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.

3-Allowances : Family Allowances payable and other benefits.

4-Qualifications: Advanced university degree relative to programme area, business
administration or humanities, engineering, information systems;

-First level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.
-In case of advanced university degree, at least six years of progressively responsible experience in at least one of or a combination of the following fields: programme management, administration, procurement, information systems, project management or finance management. Experience in process re-engineering or change management highly desirable.
-In case of first level university degree, at least 10 years of experience mentioned in item (c).
-In-depth knowledge of the policies, business processes and tools supporting their respective programme or field;
-Knowledge of the process requirements of all stakeholders of the respective area. i.e.beneficiaries, staff, donors, host governments, relevant regulatory bodies;
-Ability to analyze process performance data, map processes, identify process risks, develop alternative “future-state” approaches for processes, policies and tools;
-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff from across the Agency;
-Excellent interpersonal and communications skills including
ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate alternatives with staff across levels;
-Ability to develop work plans, manage change and execute
project tasks to ensure timely delivery of results and achievement of goals;
-Project management and/or change management experience;
-Knowledge of business process management and improvement methodologies; methods and tools used to define, measure and analyze processes, quantify risks, define stakeholder
satisfaction requirements, develop process measurement plans and key controls to mitigate risk and continuously monitor and improve processes

-Candidate will be offered a contract of one year duration.
