Job Creation Programme- JCP Cash-for-Work Project / CaWP
The United Nation Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees / Cash-for-Work Project (CaWP), is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
Vacant Post (I):I Monitor
Duty Station:WB Field Office/ CaWP - based in Jerusalem.
Post No.:LDC contract
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field: English literature. Social Sciences, Development Studies, Civil Engineer or Management; 2 years work experience; Good spoken and written Arabic and English; Self- supporting in IT (Windows, Spreadsheets. Word Processing); A valid driving license of more than two years.
1-FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Monitor)
Under the overall supervision of the Programme Manager and the Area Coordinator, the monitor performs the following:
-Monitoring JCP OE Contractors in municipalities, camps and UNRWA installations. Through site visits to the Area locations and check on the presence of the laborers, projects and match the work progress with the action plans.
-Coordinate with municipalities and UNRWA installations.
-Collect needs assessments, MOLTS, action plans and time sheets.
-Prepare the lists of laborers and municipalities every new round to help in preparing new MOU's .
-Submit a weekly work plan as well as; weekly and monthly reports (best location and site progress reports, project reports).
-File weekly monitoring forms that included the visited locations, the interviews that conducted with beneficiaries, also the achievements and work progress at all JCP projects and Illustrate the programme visibility;
-Prepare for donors visits, project visits and - Work on the payroll lists especially municipalities' time sheet
2-Expected Deliverables:
The Monitor shall prepare and submit the following reports, to UNRWA during the term of this assignment:
-Monitoring and evaluation weekly Report
-Best Location Report
-Monthly sites work progress Reports
to Ensure their accuracy and conformity with contract terms; Draft correspondence and other routine reports related to his/her functions;
Closing date/Entry on Duty for all posts is:
October 10,h 2010 / October I5lh2010;on probation period of 3 months, renewal subject to performance and availability of funds.
