The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees  invites applications from qualified candidates for the post:

Women Program Officer

1- Vacancy Number: 075/09
2-Duty Station : Relief and Social Services Program – Field Office - Jerusalem
3- Basic Salary : JD 732.8 that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
4- Allowances : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
NIS 510 as Jerusalem Allowance payable in JD at exchange rates set by the Agency.
5- Other Benefits : Include Health Insurance and Provident Fund.
6- Qualifications :
- A university degree in social studies, administration or any related university degree.
- Five years practical and gradually more responsible experience in social work for women, community organization and development or other areas of developmental social welfare
with a local or international organization.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
Desirable Qualifications
- Post graduate in gender issues, social work, sociology or community development.
- Experience in working with women’s disabled and youth programmes.
- Experience in training
