Urban Planning Officer

The Municipal Development and Lending Fund (MDLF) is a quasi-government organization
with technical, financial, and management experience in the field of Municipalities’
development, with particular experience in projects related to infrastructure, capacity
building, employment generation, as well as data collection and reporting.

The MDLF is seeking a qualified, Urban Planning Officerto work at MDLF.

Scope of Work:
-Participate in the daily operation of the MDLF and assist in supervising the implementation of the LDP, LGRDPand other programs at MDLF.
-Assist in preparing Physical Plans and Strategic Development and Investment Plans (SDIPs) which will include primary coordination with MoLG and stakeholders.
-Ensure the quality of deliverables by reviewing outputs and getting feedback from MoLG and stakeholders.
-Ensure that the assignments are being carried out in accordance with the methodologies and procedures adopted by MDLF and MoLG.

Qualifications:
1-B.Sc. in urban planning or architecture.
2-Minimum of 3 years of experience in urban planning.
3-Experience in public institutions (Ministries, LGUs, JSCs, NGOs, authorities) is an advantage.
4-Knowledge in local government related issues in a distinct benefit.
5-Strong managerial, interpersonal skills, and proven team orientation.
6-English Language proficiency.
7-Computer literacy especially in MS office.
8-Driving license is preferable.
