Vacancy, Outreach Worker

MSF-France “Doctors Without Borders” is currently seeking to hire an Outreach Worker for its Psycho-Socio-Medical program in Nablus. The post location will be Nablus City with movement throughout the Nablus District and North West Bank mainly in the villages, on a Part Time basis (20h/week).

Main goal of this position:
Develop and refine the MSF mental health intervention in communities affected by violence by analyzing the local context and identifying vulnerable communities, strengthening the existing contact network, representing MSF and reporting.

Requirements:
1-Social Worker / Counselor
2-Previous experience with MSF an asset
3-Willingness to work in insecure environment and to accept strict security rules
4-Strong team spirit
5-Strong motivation to work with a humanitarian organization
6-Good organizational skills
7-Able to recognize own limitations and when to seek support from supervisors
8-Able to effectively problem solve and prioritize the work.
9-Arabic mother tongue, English language proficiency both written and spoken
10-Good computer and report writing skills.
11-Previous experience in mental health an asset.
