VAS & Digital Specialist

The role is within the VAS team and specifically the role will include:

• Responsibility for VAS content & Digital services as part of the VAS services portfolio
• Definition of the product and marketing approach VAS content & Digital services.
• Implementation of the product jointly with the Product team, PMO, and other departments.
• Identification and implementation of go-to-market models for VAS content & Digital services.
• Be an active member of the Product Development team.

• Defining VAS content and Digital services road map and ensuring its aligned with Marketing strategy.   
• Monitoring VAS content and Digital services and ensuring achieving target objectives & revenue. 

• Working closely with company departments, including business development, market research, sales, Marcomm, Finance, IT, Technical, and customer care to ensure successful delivery of each product.

• Working on interdepartmental team for planning and execution of VAS content and Digital services and operations.

• Providing day-to-day coordination; monitoring product performance and coordinating resolution of issues. 

• Working closely with the marketing, sales and customer care teams to develop sales tools and training materials.

• Acquiring deep knowledge of telecoms VAS products and IT systems, and an understanding of the environment and the market, particularly in the area of billing, IN, voice services, data and VAS. 

• Interfacing with vendors and suppliers for VAS content and Digital services .
• Work to modernize VAS products and follow the telecom market updates .
  • Good knowledge of mobile telecoms products and IT systems, and understanding of environment and market, particularly in the area of voice & Mobile APP’s and VAS specialized products.
  • Ability to develop and manage business cases.
  • Sound understanding of Finance and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of electronic media.
  • Creative and flexible approach to project-based activity.
  • Demonstrated Teamwork, documentation and communication skills.
  • Computer Literacy knowledge with expertise in Excel ,PowerPoint and other (Microsoft) products .
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written).
  • Fast Learner and willing to work under pressure .
  • Minimum of 3 years in Product /Service experience in GSM telecommunications with a BA in telecoms/business related area
