Vice President

Akram Sbitany & Sons (Sbitany) has evolved into the leading company for the importing,  marketing, and servicing of Electrical Appliances, Electronics, Commercial and Residential Air conditions, Mobile Phones, and IT products for the Palestinian market is seeking for applicable candidates to fill the following position:
 

Roles and Responsibilities of the opened position:
-Individual will take the lead in the overall definition and development of A Sbitany and Sons company strategic plan and be held accountable for the tactical execution of those agreed upon plan.
-The person will be responsible for the hiring of his/her staff at the appropriate time.
-The person will define and present the optimum structure required after the strategy is defined and agreed upon.
-The person will be responsible for all employees of A.Sbitany and Sons company entity as well as P&L and any working capital recommendations / requirements.
- Prepare business plans including annual sales and marketing plan, annual operating plan associated budgets and strategic plan for responsible unit.
-Establish and maintain operational business metrics that assist in the identification of the entity's strengths and weaknesses.
-Leading and practice on cross functional trams to solve business issues and identify opportunities.
-Lead and manage company's resources in a manner that achieves monthly, quarterly, annual and strategic business goals and plan.
-Drive the resolution of customer issues though a disciplined problem solving approach.
-In charge of the overall operation of the logistics, Customer  service, accounting, planning, human resource, IT and legal departments.


Qualifications required:
-Must have track record of successfully establishing a start up operation and business growth.
-Demonstrated and successfully working experience in LG electronics international market as a sales subsidiary president who is responsible for accounting , sales, marketing, planning , logistics, customer service, HR, legal and IT more than 5 years
-Direct work experience in the General Management Function and the experience of managing a P&L organization is a strong plus coupled with a sales and marketing background with electronics, appliance and tele-communication industry.
-Prefer individuals working in LG Electronics more than 20 years.
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration. Additionally graduate degree or MBA is a essential.

Personal Characteristics:
-Must be an excellent communicator, facilitator and coach with strong analytical abilities.
-the person must maintain an entrepreneurial spirit, be able to establish strong team from scratch, not afraid to take risks and taking responsibility for the organization's actions and results.
-Candidate must have a strong understanding of electronics, appliances and tele-communication products and attention to detail and deadline.
-He must demonstrate a commitment to A. Sbitany and sons company values and total quality philosophy with a strong sense of urgency.
-Strong business ethics and high level of confidently are mandatory.
-The person must be assertive and able to define / develop strategic corporate initiatives and drive the tactical execution of those initiatives.
-The person must be able to identify sales opportunities , create /execute marketing plans as well as identify organization issues and present solutions.
-Flexible work hours with extended travel will frequently be required to accommodate customer specific requirements
-Strong analytical skills couple with self-starter attitude are keys to success.


The company is offering 20.000 NIS as a base salary , company car, phone and social benefits.
