Water and Sanitation Program Manager-WSPM/TTPP/09

ACF (Action Against Hunger - Spain) is a humanitarian, non-governmental, non-political,
non-denominational and non-profit making organisation working in the Palestinian Territory since 2002.
In line with our project entitled “Emergency Response to alleviate the lack of access to
basic water needs of families affected by the current crisis in the Gaza Strip” funded by the
Department for International Development (DFID),
ACF is recruiting for its Gaza office a For an initial 3 months period subject to funding
The candidate will:
1-Coordinate and follow up the implementation of all water and sanitation activities
in coordination with the Water and Sanitation Coordinator
2-Follow up project achievement indicators
3-Forecast and follow up project expenses and budget related issues
4-Participate in writing of project extension or amendments if needed
5-Participate in the design and implementation of water and sanitation assessments
and surveys
6-Participate in the design of water and sanitation problem statements, concept papers
in collaboration with the WS Coordinator
7-Support, promote and follow-up the ACF water and sanitation team in Gaza
8-Coordinate with national and international organizations
9-Participate in writing the Terms of Reference for any external services
Profile of the Candidate:
10-University degree preferable advanced degree in water management or any related field
11-3 years of relevant professional experience preferable within INGO
12-Fluent in English and Arabic
13-Excellent computer skills
14-Good interpersonal, analytical and communications skills
15-Well organized and rigorous
16-Valid Driving License
