We are looking for an Information Officer to lead Information Management related to the
WASH cluster and to monitor and support the activities of advocacy partners, in line with
Oxfam and donor reporting requirements. The main purpose of the WASH Cluster Information and Advocacy Officer is to lead WASH cluster Information management needs in the occupied Palestinian territories, in coordination with the national WASH Cluster Coordinator in Jerusalem, WASH partner organisations, and the WASH cluster team in Gaza.
Education
Essential: Bachelors degree in a related subject
Desirable: Professional qualification in library or geographic sciences, including information technology and statistics, or in information systems, computer science, or other related fields of studies.
Experience
1-At least three year’s working experience with information management, preferably in
an international organization (e.g. UN agencies, INGO:s or ICRC)
2- Experience in data analysis and compilation
3- Experience of supporting and monitoring the progress of Palestinian NGOs
4- Knowledge of the UN system and humanitarian community
5- Experience in working with map creation would be an advantage
