Employment Opportunity for an Intermediate Web and Graphic Designer

Union Construction and Investment (UCI) is one of the largest real-estate development and investment companies in Palestine. UCI’s projects include TABO (www.TABO.ps) and MENA Geothermal (www.menageothermal.com) and is now offering an outstanding opportunity for a talented Intermediate Web and Graphic Designer based in Gaza. This is a phenomenal learning experience for a hard working, goal driven, and career oriented candidate.

Requirements:

-Bachelor or diploma degree in Multimedia, Graphic Design, Information Technology or any related field.
-Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions.
-Resident of Gaza.
-Very good English Language (oral/written) and fluent in Arabic Language.
-Excellent in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, etc).
-Excellent Knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, Ajax, SEO, and HTML5.
-Excellent artistic ability, highly talented in graphic design, and excellent knowledge of color schemes
-Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
-Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.
-Pay close attention to details while handling multiple tasks.
-Awareness of technology standards and emerging trends.
-Ability to learn and self-development.
-Highly motivated and results driven.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

-Design electronic and printed corporate materials based on brand guidelines.
-Thorough knowledge and practice of creative clarification to effectively communicate ideas and directions.
-Provide technical graphics assistance to internal staff, and external customers.
-Prepare and deliver social media content.
-Daily monitor of website material and content updated.
-Coordinate and maintain a library of graphics, media, and digital records.
-Prepare annual reports and write proposals for various projects.
-Assist with daily operation of the Marketing team to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
