Employment Opportunity for a Web and Mobile Developer in Gaza

Ahlia Insurance is a leading insurance company in Palestine that strives to lead in the Palestinian insurance market while contributing to the development of the Palestinian community. Ahlia has an associate company which is Union Construction and Investment Company (UCI), it is one of the largest real-estate development and investment companies in Palestine. UCI has changed the culture of Palestine’s residential and commercial development. UCI’s projects include TABO (www.TABO.ps) and MENA Geothermal (www.menageothermal.com). UCI alongside Ahlia is now offering an outstanding opportunity for a Web and Mobile Developer to join its team in Gaza .

Requirements:
–Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Information Technology.
–Minimum 2 years of experience in Web, iOS and Andriod applications development.
–Experience in developing websites with (PHP) professionally.
–Experience in designing website using html5, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
–Experience in IOS/ Android applications programming.
–Experience in dealing with databases (MYSQL), web services, Media, and Animation.
–Mobile UI design knowledge is a plus.
–Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
–The ability to work under pressure.

Job Description:
–Managing, programming, developing, and following up company websites.
–Dealing with major stores which publish applications such as (Apple Store, Google store …….).
–Creating and managing applications of the highest quality.
–Creating site layout/user interface from provided design concepts by using standard HTML5/CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
–Application/Framework design as needed.
–Gathering specifications/requirements as needed.
-Routine daily maintenance and testing of existing sites and applications and identifying technical problems
–Writing programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing website software to meet business requirements
–Uploading the site into a server and registering it with different search engines.
–Editing web page content, and direct others producing content.
–Analyzing user needs to determine technical requirements.
