Youth Program Coordinator

AFSC - Quaker Service is looking for a Youth Program Coordinator based in East Jerusalem.

The main purpose of the job will be to:
-Develop a strategy for AFSC’s work with youth in Jerusalem
-Build effective working relationships with partners
-Have positive impact upon the lives of young Palestinians living in Jerusalem
-Maintain connections with Palestine Youth Program in West Bank and Gaza Strip, and with partners working with young Palestinians living in Israel

Minimum requirements:
-Three years or more experience of working in a leadership role with young people
-Knowledge and experience of context in which young Palestinians are living in Jerusalem
-Proven capacity to develop relationships with donors and develop, monitor and report on financial commitments
-People management experience including leadership and supervision responsibilities
-Fluent Arabic and English (written and spoken) is essential, Hebrew is desirable
-Familiarity with MS Office applications
