معهد النجاح للطفولة هو مركز تخصصي يهتم بالأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة تابع لكلية الطب وعلوم الصحة جامعة النجاح. المعهد قيد الإنشاء بدعم من مؤسستي النور والفضل الخيريتين من خلال مؤسسة التعاون. يرتكز عمله / على عدة محاور: مركز التقييم والكشف المبكر عن أمراض تطور النمو لدى الأطفال، ومركز التدريب والإعتناء بالأطفال ذوي الإحتياجات الخاصة )روضة أطفال(، ومركز تدريب للعاملين في مجال الإحتياجات الخاصة.

يعلن المعهد عن حاجته لإشغال الوظائف التالية:

 

: يحمل شهادة البكالوريوس في العلاج الوظيفي، خبرة عملية لا تقل عن سنتين، وسبق له التعامل مع ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.

يفضل من يتمتع بمهارة الاتصال والقدرة على تحمل ضغط العمل، وكتابة التقارير الفنية، و اجادة اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية قراءة وكتابة.

 

Job description
The occupational therapists will assist children who face everyday challenges due to disabilities. The occupational therapist has to engage in purposeful activities or occupations to promote, regain or maintain health and well-being. He will work with children of all ages, whose difficulties have been present since birth, or the result of an accident, illness, or lifestyle.
The occupational therapists will devise treatment programs to increase their clients’ ability to carry out activities or occupations independently, and with more confidence. The occupational therapists will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, alongside other health professionals such as pediatricians, nurses, psychologists and speech therapist. It may also liaise with professionals in education and the social services.
Typical work activities
Tasks typically involve:
-Advise on specialized equipment to assist with daily activities;
-Develop a rehabilitation program to help re-build lost skills and restore lost confidence;
-Coach children with learning difficulties;
-Mentor people on how to control their own behavior;
-Write reports and attend multidisciplinary case meetings to plan and review ongoing treatment;
-Organize support and rehabilitation groups for carers and clients;
-Manage a caseload and prioritize needs.
-Reporting any step in the Individual Educational Plan (IEP) to the head of the clinic, during the weekly meeting.

Required Qualification and Experience for the all of the above positions:
-Advanced university qualification each one in its field of specialty
-Minimum two years’ experience in the clinical field
-Fluency in written and spoken English
-Good computer competency
-Outstanding organizational and time management skills
-Excellent team player
-Highly committed to project goals and objective
-Ability to work under pressure and flexibility
