Role Summary::

The role is within the VAS Product Development team within the Marketing department

Specifically the role will include:

-Responsibility for Content & Information Services as part of the product portfolio
-Define the product and marketing approach for Content & Information Services
-Implement the product jointly with the Product team & other department.
-Identify and implement go-to-market models for Content & Information Services

Be an active member of the Product Development team .

Duties & Responsibilities::

-Define Content & Information Services road map and ensure its aligned with Marketing strategy .
-Monitor Content & Information Services and ensure achieving target objectives & revenue.
-Works closely with company departments, including business development, market research, sales, Marcomm, Finance, IT, Technical, and customer care to ensure successful delivery of each product.
-Works on interdepartmental team for planning and execution of Content & Information Services and operations.
-Provide day-to-day coordination; monitor product performance and coordinate resolution of issues.
-Develop content for Information & content Services.
-Work closely with the marketing, sales and customer care teams to develop sales tools and training materials.
-Interfaces with vendors and suppliers for Content & Information Services.
-Responsible for the following product lines:
-Content services.
-Information services.
-Games.
-Entertainment services.

Work Experience & Qualifications::

-Minimum of 2 years Product /Service experience in GSM telecommunications with a BA/MBA degree.
-Proven experience in Product development in a telecoms environment.
-Proven experience of ability to deliver complex products across the full product life cycle
-Deep knowledge of mobile telecoms products and IT systems, and understanding of environment and market, particularly in the area of Information services and or VAS specialized products.
-Ability to develop and manage business cases.
-Sound understanding of Finance and vendor management.
-Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English/able to work in an English speaking environment.
-PC literate, with knowledge of spreadsheets and PowerPoint.
-Knowledge of electronic media.
-Creative and flexible approach to project based activity.
-Demonstrated Team work and communication skills.

Personal Traits & Skills::

-Deep knowledge of fixed and/or mobile telecoms products and IT systems, and understanding of environment and market, particularly in the area of billing, IN, voice services, data and VAS.
-Ability to develop and manage business cases.
-Sound understanding of Finance and supplier management.
-Demonstrated communication skills .
-Demonstrated documentation skills .
-Demonstrated organizational skills .
-Demonstrated team work skills .
-Computer Literacy knowledge (Microsoft).
-Proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written).
