Title:Field Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities:
-Leading the team of deployment and maintenance during swap and installation of radio and transmission equipments.
-Developing contingency plans to maintain the continued provision of service to subscribers without interruption in service for a long time
-Performing and follow up site activation procedures.
-Following up site modification and reconfiguration.
-Performing and follow up alarm clearing procedure of  both radio and transmission equipments.
-Ensuring that all systems are functioning at optimal levels, and reduce the likelihood of major failures.
-Supervising all activities related to Field operation and maintenance.
-Supervising Contractors activities and ensure awarded works are completed on time.
-Performing commissioning / configuration and trouble shooting of RBS / BTS indoor
and outdoor (Ericsson) and different transmission equipment.
-Conducting regular preventive or routine maintenance on sites(different equipments and facilities)
-Performing VSWR measurement (RBS/BTS) and BER testing.
-Terminating of E1 cables at krone block between BSC and transmission.
-Implementing changes on configuration of RBS /BTS /Transmission (upgrade /
downgrade, Re-homing, Migration).
-Replacing of IDU,MMU,DRU/ TRE and ODU.
-Replacing of IF/RF cable and re-panning of MW antenna.
-Monitoring delivery of materials for upgrading, change out and new sites.
-Supervising installation of RBS/BTS/Transmission for indoor and outdoor
(change out/ swap and new site).
-Performing and/or supervise compatibility site acceptance testing (PAT/FAT).

Requirements:
-Minimum of five years experience in similar position.
-Technical operation & maintenance skills.
-Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
-Knowledge of NMS role and basic functions.
-Knowledge of Antennae systems and their related connectors & accessories.
-Knowledge of link budget calculations and Path profile study.
-Knowledge of frequencies & RF propagation.
-Basic knowledge of IP addresses.
-Conversant with use of appropriate tools & test equipment.
-Proven supervisory skills.
-Bachelor degree Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.
-Proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written).
-Computer Literacy knowledge (Microsoft).
