Role Summary & Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide full administration & Support to all Microsoft Infrastructure Systems/Applications that includes but not limited to (Server OS, Active Directory, Exchange Server, ISA Server, PKI, RMS, SCOM, SCCM, Lync 2010,DNS, ISA/Proxy, Cluster, Virtualization, Security, WSUS…etc) and other related sub-systems, and coordinate changes to Windows servers, test and implement patches.  Plan, coordinate, and implement security policies to safeguard Windows environment.

Monitoring, Managing & Administrating Corporate & Business Microsoft systems & MS Environments, as follows:
-Server Widows OS, Cluster (Version 2003-2012) and MS Sql Cluster.
-Monitoring Windows OS, Application, Services & cluster status, logs, and performance.
-Implement, and maintain highly available solutions.
-Systems Licenses & certificates.
-Integration AD & Exchange with other Applications and systems (i.e. ERP, Network, etc).
-Prepare User, Groups, Computer, Etc Security polices and permissions.
-Monitoring & Managing Windows resources
-Follow up systems & Application backup & recovery
-Follow up systems problems & fix them
-Provide technical support for production services including problem isolation and resolution in a timely manner
-Maximize system availability and performance through fault-tolerant configuration, and proactive server monitoring
-Follow up systems healthy & performance checks
-Follow up Support & Maintenance Contracts
-Creating & Managing Windows Power Shell scripts
-Installing & configuring Microsoft Products (OS, cluster, AD, MS application and tools, Etc)
-Perform systems installs, configurations, maintenance, system recovery and others hardware and maintenance needs
-Upgrading Firmware & patching OS & MS Applications
-Computer security, privacy, and integrity, software conversions, and software corrections
-Install new software applications, coordinating assistance from third parties when necessary
-Troubleshooting and repairing server hardware (RAID Arrays, SAN's, Tape Libraries, etc)
-Administration Storage Management Tools (Windows RAID, VXVM ,  etc
-Administration Virtualization Environments (Hosts, VM machines, & VDI)
-Perform customizing & administration for HP-OM/SCOM policies for all MS windows environment.
-Configuring/Testing/Evaluating new software and hardware products for use in the rapidly growing Active Directory environment.

Monitoring, Managing, Planning, Designing & Administrating The following Microsoft InfraStructure Components:

-DHCP, DNS, PKI & NTP.
-Active Directory Domain & Certificates Services.
-Exchange Server 2007/2010.
-Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
-System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
-System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
-System Center Data Protection Manager (DPM).
-MS OCS 2007 & Lync 2010.
-File & Print Services.
-ISA & Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) 2010.
-Virtualization (Hyper-V or VSphere) & Microsoft System Center 2012.
-Desktop Virtualization.
-SharePoint 2007/2010.
-SQL Server 2005/2008.
-Internet Information Services (IIS).

Experience & Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
-MCSE certification.
-2-3 Year experience in IT field and MS environment.
-Good knowledge in most of the OS platforms and specifically in Server Windows Operating system.
-Good Knowledge with AD and Exchange polices, Security, planning and design.
-Good knowledge with most of the Windows commands, utilities, and OS Storage Management Tools.
-Good Knowledge with Systems backup tools & Enterprise Backup Solution (MS DPM, Veritas NetBackup, HP Data Protector, Acronis, etc).
-Good Knowledge with fundamental and administration of the Entry, & Midrange (DAS, NAS, SAN, etc) and related devices.
-Good knowledge with Virtualization Technology & Fault Management Tool (i.e. HP OM).
-Telecom background is preferred.
-Proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written).

-To be able to fully administer Microsoft operating systems and their respective vendor Hardware. Sense of responsibility towards mission critical servers of high importance to the company.
-Fundamental Knowledge with Linux/Unix OS.

-Work under the general supervision of a more senior system administrator or computer systems manager.

-Documents, reports, and records are accurate, complete, and timely.
-Ability to develop and help the team to grow and increase their skills
