Role Summary & Duties and Responsibilities:

-Performing daily O&M and regular activities of Optical Transmission Network.
-Increasing/upgrading transmission capacity in existing MUX without any interruption of traffic.
-Daily operations & maintenance, health check, error check, performance monitoring of optical network.
-Be able to scheduled preventive maintenance for network elements and monitor the quality of network/maintenance services.
-Ensuring data integrity and security, performing application upgrades, developing and maintaining disaster recovery plan and database maintenance of optical network.
-Verifying transmission planning, route plan and provide appropriate transmission resources for BSC, BTS, MSC, and other related nodes.
-The capability of spare part management for optical network.
-Providing monthly periodic report which is related to network status and condition.
-Handling daily trouble shooting as per the NOC analysis and escalation of any problem.
-Performing site acceptance and assuring quality of contractors installation work.
-Optical Nodes installation, commissioning and testing as per plan and standards.

Experience:
-Bachelor degree  in Electrical /Electronics Engineering or related field.
-Minimum one year experience of configurations (Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply)

Skills & Qualifications:
-Creative and flexible approach to project based activity.
-Excellent interpersonal & communication skills,
-Ability to work under pressure.
-Proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written).
-Readness to be part of a 24 hour on call schedule
