The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of:

Laboratory Technician (Water)

1-Duty Station : Area Office Hebron/ Dhaisheh Camp/ Vacancy No. 063/2014/X
                            Area Office Jerusalem/ Aqbet Jaber Camp /Vacancy No. 064/2014/X
2-Department : Environmental Health department
3-Basic Salary : 458.1 JD+ that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
Other fringe benefits include provident fund & health insurance.
4-Allowances : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
33% of the basic salary as Supplementary Allowance.

5-Qualifications:
-Full secondary education.
-Completion of a course in laboratory techniques of two years duration from an institution
recognized by UNRWA.
-At least two years experience as laboratory technician.
-Experience in the use of computers and an understanding of their use in health applications.
-Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.

Competencies:
-Ability to work under pressure and cope with heavy workload.
-Adequate computer skills.
-Excellent organizational and communication skills.
-Self-motivated.
