The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of:
Registration Assistant
1-Duty Station : Field Office Jerusalem/Vacancy No. 027/2014/X
Jerusalem Area/Vacancy No. 028/2014/X
2-Department : Relief & Social Services Department
3-Grade & Salary : Limited Duration Contract (LDC) - Band “C” – S1
506.0JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
4-Allowances : Dependency Allowances payable and other benefits (Medical Insurance)
& Currency Adjustment Factor.
5-Qualifications:
-Post-secondary diploma in Business and office practice or other related discipline.
-At least two years of related experience in Admin work & Data entry.
-Working knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic.
Competencies:
-Ability to work under pressure and cope with heavy workload and multiple tasks effectively.
-Knowledge and ability to operate basic computer software & office equipment used by Agency.
-Ability to maintain cordial relationships with all concerned.
-Ability to cope with multiple tasks effectively.
-Good communication skills.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONS
Preference will be given to BA holders.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of the refugee community and Agency Relief and Social Services activities.
