Gaza Officer

Duration: 1 year starting ASAP, subject to performance base renewal.
Location: Gaza
Coverage Region: Gaza Strip
InTajuna is a 3- year project managed by Solutions for Development Consulting Co with a core funding from SDC that aims to increase local producers’ market share in the local market through; increasing the capacity of MSMEs/producers by improving their access to market knowledge and upgrade their management and marketing skill, improving the visibility and perception of Palestinian products within the local market and empowering producers to dvocate for policies that are conducive for increased share in the domestic market.

Reporting directly to InTajuna Project Manager, the Gaza Project Officer is expected to lead InTajuna efforts to assist leading firms within the fast moving consumer goods industry and organizations active with in the agriculture sector to gain larger share in the Palestinian domestic market.
He/ She will be expected to carry out the following duties and responsibilities;
1- Introduce and recruit possible InTajuna companies to participate from Gaza Strip
2- Coordinate all aspects of marketing and media management of promotional campaigns in Gaza strip, including the recruitment of POS and campaign management
3- Coordinate market research with research institute including all aspects such as primary and secondary information in Gaza Strip and report back to InTajuna Project manager.
4-Coordinate internal capacity building activities throughout the project.
5-Coordinate the establishment of the advocacy group representatives in Gaza.
6- Submit progress and financial reports as required.
7-Performs other duties as needed
Qualifications:
Best candidate for above position must have:
1- University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field.
2-Minimum of three years employment in a private sector organization
3-Excellent written and verbal skills (English and Arabic)
4-Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
5-Works well under pressure
