تعلن سلطة المياه الفلسطينية - غزة عن حاجتها لتعيين مساعد اداري ومالي وذلك للعمل ضمن طاقم وحدة ادارة مشروع مجاري شمال غزة الطاريء الممول من البنك الدولي وذلك حسب الشروط المبينه ادناه:

VACANCY ANNOUNCMENT
The Palestinian Water Authority (PWA) in Gaza invites experienced & qualified Palestinians to apply for the following position in the project Management Unit (PMU) which is responsible for the implementation of North Gaza Emergency Sewage Project funded by the World Bank.
Responsibility and Duties:
- Assist in monitoring expenditure against budget allotments and reports on variances
- Supporting and ensuring due diligence in all projects book keeping of disbursements and reports
-Preparing monthly cash flows projection and maintaining oversight control over the project bank accounts transactions
- Preparing monthly bank reconciliation statements
-Preparing necessary accounting documentation for approval journal vouchers, payment vouchers, transaction Entries into the accounting software, etc. and ensuring accuracy and reporting any accounts discrepancies
-Maintaining all financial custody of documentation and accountable stationeries in appropriate safe
- Maintaining all the accounting documentation files and archive system
- Maintaining the petty cash payments and replenishments regularly
- Preparing and circulation monthly staff salary slips
-Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annually financial reports
- Ensuring office supplies and stationeries and providing administrative support for all PMU team
- Preparing other duties as maybe assigned
Qualifications
The following are minimum qualifications:
- Minimum university degree in accounting with experience of 5 years in projects accounting, financial management and administrative support.
-High degree of confidentiality, initiative, action oriented and diplomacy.
- Ability to establish harmonious working relations in an international and local environment.
-Good using in MS Applications, excellent in Excel.
- Good using of accounting software, AL Aseel
-Good knowledge in project administration & procurement
- Good knowledge in World Bank and other donor‘s financial system is desirable
-Excellent oral and writing communications skills: good commend of English language (reading, writing and speaking) and excellent computer skills

- The Admin. And Financial Officer is required on a full -time basis for one year and may be extendable to two years.
-The commencement of the assignment is expected to start on 15th September 2009.
