Reporting Officer
This position is responsible for all areas related to operational and social reporting, including developing and maintaining financial principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate reporting. This person will work with the data base team, operations and the management on varying levels, and will be responsible for ensuring targets are properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position will work well within deadline constraints and a multitude of financial activities, including financial reporting, year-end reporting, regulatory audits reporting, and the support of budget and forecasting activities. This person will report to the operations manager and have contact with senior level management.
Primary Responsibilities

Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of financial reporting and donors reporting needs

Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close

Assist in daily operational marketing activities

Ensure the accurate and timely processing of sales

Ensure monthly and quarterly compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner

Support budget and forecasting activities

Collaborate with other department managers to support overall goals and objectives

Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy

Advise staff regarding the handling of atypical reporting transactions

Respond to inquiries from executives and other managers regarding financial results, special reporting, etc.

support the data base group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

Assist in development and implementation of new products and features to enhance the workflow of the department

Provide training to new and existing staff as needed

Work with operation team members to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on progress to enhance the professional development of staff

Support Financial manager with special reporting and workflow process improvements

Desired Skills and Experience:
- BA/BS in finance with an emphasis in economics, or related field
- Strong research skills
- High level of integrity and the demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills required
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines required
