ABC is currently recruiting for its main office in Dura _ Hebron a qualified procurement officer to perform the following main tasks:
1-Monitoring & implementation of all the normal daily purchases
2-Coordinating with Company departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned.
3-Assisting in managing and following up overseas orders.
4-Handling and monitoring of claims to Suppliers and vendors for defectives, shortage.
5-Regulation and control of procurement in a way can be used in the processes of pricing projects.
6-Negotiating for best purchasing packages (in terms of quality, price, term, delivery and service) with suppliers and sub-contractors assigned and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
7-Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
8-Lead, direct, coordinate, and manage all administrative, contractual and operational aspects of the procurement department.
9-Train, motivate, coach, develop, and evaluate assigned professional, technical, and clerical purchasing staff upon need.
10-Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, market players and service providers.
11-Facilitate procurement team meetings, prepare supporting documentation, conduct market research, develop market analysis and maintain fully organized purchase files for each project.
12-Prepare the Purchasing budget for review by the financial manager and general director.
13-Coordinate budget and expenditures; approve requests, field purchase orders, and contracts.
14-Manage and ensure timely completion of projects within the fiscal year ensuring high level of clean accounts with suppliers and service providers.
Candidate Profile:
1-B.A Degree in Administration, Economy, accounting, Finance or equivalent disciplines
2-3-5 years experience in procuring commodities and services which includes preparing order specifications, estimates, contracts. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by ABC.
3-Strong command in English both written and verbal.
4-Proven ability to work under pressure.
5-Strong team player, fully respecting ABC management chain.
6-Candidates shall have strong computer literacy, including MS office and internet.
7-Communicative, active listener and learner
8-Coordination ability, ability to present strong judgment and decision making, organization
9-Manage time effectively, service orientated, strong negotiator, and has sense in calculations.
