Mission of implementation of Gender Action Learning process with partners and communities to contribute to the “Promotion of inclusive agricultural growth to ensure improved living standards and resilience of vulnerable communities in Area C of the West Bank”

Objective of the consultancy.

1. Contribute to the capacity development and awareness raising of three identified communities and local partner organizations by the full facilitation of a Gender Action Learning process (activity 3.2.3)
a. Sensitize identified local communities and partners organization about their role in power relation around gender on individual/household, organizational and community level and the importance of gender relation in the increase of small-scale farmers income, the development of economic cooperatives and respect of land and water rights.
b. Build and strengthen capacities of identified local communities and partners organization to implement change processes in favor of gender justice and women rights
c. Facilitate the launch and the implementation of change experiments led by identified local communities and partners organization in favor of gender justice and women rights.
2. Facilitate and consolidate learning outcomes from the Gender Action Learning process
a. Identify and consolidate with partners, communities and Oxfam learnings on gender justice, women rights and capacity building
b. Draw lessons learned from the process as this the first implementation of the Gender Action Learning in the West Bank.
3. Provides support to RWDS and Oxfam in the design of “Women and agriculture” workshops (activity 3.2.4) to facilitate community-level discussions on women’s rights particularly in relation to women farmers’ economic roles and gender-based inequalities.

Modality of submission

The technical proposal should include:
- The objective of the mission/consultancy
- The expected results
- A description of the approach and the methodology, including the design phase and the planning.
- A description of the way to articulate the involvement of both partners and cooperatives into the change process.
- The CV of the consultant(s) with the details of his/her experiences in link with the required profile described above
- the highlights of a scenario for implementation taking into account travel and other
restriction due to the COVID-19.

Financial and technical proposal should be submitted before July 30th,2020
