Post Title: Consultant (conducting Training of Trainers (ToT) and preparing a training manual on Promoting Women Participation on Labour Market)

Project Title: Strengthening Women´s Participation in the Labour Market in Palestine.

Background,

The Women’s Studies Center (WSC) is a Palestinian secular, independent, and feminist non-governmental organization dedicated to protecting and advocating human rights and women's rights; advancing gender equality, and supporting women’s rights as an integral part of human rights. Established in 1989 in Jerusalem (Palestine).

WSC goals include achieving positive change and improving the quality of life for women and girls in the Palestinian society socially and economically following these strategic objectives:

Empowering women socially, economically, and building women's capabilities.

Studying and analyzing the situation of Palestinian women, and publishing the findings and recommendations. 

Protecting women and girls from gender-based violence. 

WSC seeks a qualified consultant to design a training manual followed by the provision of comprehensive Training of Trainers' program (TOT) for 16 members of the Complaints and Legal Units of Trade Unions under the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions (PGFTU). The training program will build upon the findings of the study and the manual on best practices and mechanisms to prevent, address and eliminate GBV in the world of work.
