Developing Application for People with Disabilities under Atara Municipality

Basic information:

Project Name: The Innovative Citizen Participation

Location: Atara, West Bank

Project Funded by: Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)

Entity Responsible for Execution: The Palestinian Information Technologies Association (PITA)

Goal of this contract: The goal of this TOR is to develop an application that meets the needs of people with disabilities/ special needs for the benefit of Atara Municipality under the project "The Innovative Citizen Participation," spearheaded by the Palestinian Information Technologies Association (PITA).

Entity Responsible for this contract: The Palestinian Information Technologies Association of Companies- (PITA).

Duration of this contract: It is expected that the selected ICT company will provide all requested services and deliverables in 30-45 calendar days.

Purpose of the Assignment:

The assignment involves developing an application to serve the needs of people with disabilities/special needs in Atara Municipality. The goal is to improve accessibility and communication between this demographic and the municipality, offering support, resources, and empowerment for inclusivity and equal opportunities. The application should be feature-rich, user-friendly, and secure, tailored to the municipality's requirements and facilitating interactions with citizens with special needs. Human-centered design (HCD) will be employed to ensure the application is optimally usable and responsive to users' needs

Interested applicants must send the technical and financial proposal (in English) in sealed envelopes Each price offer separately (the technical offer in a separate envelope from the financial offer) within one sealed envelope to PITA’s office in Ramallah, Al-Irsal. Ougarit Building, 4th Floor, and no later than March 28, 2024 at 2:30 PM local time in Palestine and include the subject “Developing Application for People with Disabilities under Atara Municipality” on the cover of the provided offers.
