The Palestinian Centre for Peace and Democracy intends to conduct an external evaluation to one of its projects entitled; Femininfluencer, a project implemented with the cooperation of Operation 1325. The project aimed to empower and enthuse a number of 20 young female activists in using classic and social media as a means for change, aimed to enhance women rights, freedom of both expression and movement and equality.
These young women received a capacity building program that qualified them to conduct dialogue meetings with Public Opinion and Policy makers, lead live TV sessions, produce TV spots and conduct Film Screening workshops to disseminate ideas related to women rights, equality and activism in the public sphere in line with the international Agreements and declarations that Palestine signed on mainly CEDAW and 1325.
Objectives of the Evaluation
PCPD is seeking to procure the services of an independent external evaluator to conduct a mixed-method, gender-sensitive evaluation for the implementation of the project. The evaluation will assess the delivery, effectiveness, impact of the project, and report the findings, lessons learnt and recommendation for future programing. This evaluation review aims to use a mixed approach methodology for data collection which also includes a reasonable sample framework to be proposed by the consultant/expert.
