Gender Policy Development Expert

The Agriculture Cooperative Union – Palestine (PACU) is a registered Agricultural cooperative Union in the Ministry of Labour and is the only Union in Palestine resulting from the merger of three former agricultural cooperative unions. The union’s vision is to build a united agricultural cooperative sector to contribute in the development and enhancement of the agricultural sector in Palestine and increase its capacity to compete in local and international markets.  Its mission is to empower member cooperatives especially women member cooperatives and enable them to achieve their goals in line with the cooperation principles and concepts.  

The Agriculture Cooperative Union – Palestine (PACU) is soliciting consultancy services to implement Develop a gender policy to ensure proper participation of women with PACU and its members. The project is funded by We effect, and implemented by PACU. According to the following conditions: 

1. The applicant consultant should have previous experience in similar work. 
2. PACU is not obliged to accept the lowest prices and has the right to postpone, cancel, extend bid without explanation. 
3. Eligible contractor can obtain quotation request documents by sending email to: [email protected] No later than Thursday, June 4, 2020 12:00 pm 
4. Consultants should submit their offers by hand no later than Sunday, June 7, 2020 2:00 pm. 
5. The assignment is expected to take 10 working/business days.  The expected deadline for the submission of the Gender Policy Document and Report is July 5, 2020.
6. Preparation and announcement fees will be paid by the bid winner.
