Higher Education Project
AMIDEAST, an international non-profit education organization in the West Bank and Gaza is seeking qualified applications for an anticipated higher education project in the West Bank and Gaza. This project will assist Higher Education Institutions (including technical colleges) to enhance college/university student competitiveness and bridge the gap between education outcomes and market needs.
We are looking primarily to fill long-term positions with Senior and Mid-Level Palestinian professionals in the following technical specifications:
- Higher education- bridging academic programs to market needs/work readiness
- Technical/vocational education, bridging vocational programs to market needs/work readiness
- Grants/Procurement (specifically on a USAID program)
- Communications
- Monitoring and Evaluation (specifically with Education and USAID programs)
Candidates must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Master’s Degree in education, business, management, or the social sciences (or related field);
- 7-10 years’ experience managing and/or substantively contributing to development projects in the education field, including higher education;
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Arabic;
- Experience with USAID or other donor or government funded work (strongly preferred, not required).
