 Request for Proposal (RFP) 

Gaza Sky Geeks (GSG) is Gaza’s first and only innovation hub and start-up accelerator, run by Mercy Corps (MC), a non-profit international relief and development organization with programs in the occupied Palestinian territories since the 1980s. Mercy Corps founded GSG in partnership with Google.org in 2011 with an aim to transform Gaza’s most talented youth into the Middle East’s technology business leaders and to realize Gaza’s potential as a start-up hub. In addition to running tech ecosystems and outreach events, the GSG co-working hub, incubation, and acceleration programs, beginning in 2017 GSG will be launching two new programming verticals under our brand.  

One of these new verticals aims to grow outsourcing/freelancing/distance work opportunities for skilled but unemployed women and youth in Gaza.  

Purpose of the Consultancy

Mercy Corps invites electronic proposals from Eligible Trainers from Gaza - Palestine to conduct the following trainings:

• Providing 120 hours in IOS development 
• Providing 120 hours in 3D Motion Graphic 

The needed services are according with procedures, conditions and contract terms presented in the Request for Proposal document.

The following conditions apply:

• Request for Proposal can be collected in hard copies from Mercy Corps office located in the procurement department, Al Motaz Building # 3, Al Thalathini St. starting from 17 August 2021.
• Questions submission date 22 August 2021, to the following email address:                                           [email protected] 
• Questions will be answered by 23 August 2021, all prospective bidders will access consolidated questions and answers, the link will be shared through email
• The RFP submission deadline 26 August 2021, before 15:00 Palestine Time 
• Submission: Electronic offers should be submitted only to the email address:                                  [email protected] in one main folder containing two separate folders, one bearing the words: “Folder A – Technical Proposal Folder” & “B – Financial Proposal”
