LEGAL CONSULTANCY FOR REVISING "COLD STORAGE" LEGAL DOCUMENTS IN KHAN YUNIS.

Action Against Hunger (AAH) is an international humanitarian organization founded in 1979 with the aim of combating hunger. AAH has been working in the occupied Palestinian territory since 2002 - currently with operational offices in Jerusalem, Gaza City, and Hebron. In Gaza, AAH - implements programs in the sectors of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion (WASH), Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL responses. Through its interventions, AAH aims to protect lives, promote capacities of Palestinian communities, and transform system to influence decision making.

Following the establishment of the women business in Khan Yunis to manage a cold storage facility for vegetable production, original legal documentation between the business, a local partner and AAH should be reviewed after changes in roles and responsibilities towards the activities of the cold storage facilities. 

Action Against Hunger – Palestinian Territory (Gaza Strip) intends to award an external consultant to review and update contracts to be signed between Action Against Hunger and the Rights Holders’, contract to be signed between Rights Holders and the local partner and cancellation procedure of land lease agreement between one individual and Rights Holders’, provide any recommendation on identified legal gaps within the process and documentation and you Provide recommendation for steps to be taken for small businesses, cooperatives or other forms to proceed with all required legal works and documents with different ministries to receive the necessary official licenses according to the Palestinian law as the main reference for all required contracts in Gaza.

* Gaza bidders: eligible consultants - lawyer must have a certified and stamped license from the Palestinian Bar Association and Work experience in similar tasks with Humanitarian Organisations working in Gaza, have a valid career license and to be able to provide a VAT invoice

Action Against Hunger does not bind itself to award the bid to the lowest bid or any bid and reserves the right to accept the whole or part of the bid.

The winning service provider should pay the advertisement fees in the newspaper and on the website.
