Conduct a thorough risk assessment of the MFI's portfolio, analyzing the various types of loans, assessing the financial health of the borrowers, and evaluating external factors that could impact loan repayment.

Develop a risk mitigation framework to address identified risks, creating risk mitigation strategies for different types of risks, such as credit risk, market risk, and operational risk

2.0 Operational and compliance Guidelines:

Draft operational guidelines for the guarantee fund's day-to-day management

Establish a streamlined process for submitting and processing claims

Define the criteria for approving claims and disbursement of funds.

Establish the process for the disbursement request to the Committee.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

3.0 Monitoring and Evaluation Framework:

Design a robust monitoring and evaluation system to track the performance of the guarantee fund.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the fund's impact.

Implement regular reviews to assess the fund's effectiveness and make necessary adjustments. in the section responsibilities, this is in charge of the Committee: we have to decide who is in charge and who is collaborating

4.0 Periodical and final report

Prepare quarterly reports on fund utilization, claims processing, and financial status.

Elaborate a final report, including suggestion for the fund exit strategy to be discussed with the Guarantee Fund Committee
