Mapping to identify specific livelihoods/ professions that have high participation level of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)

MA’AN Development Centre is an independent Palestinian development and training institution established in January, 1989, registered by law as a non-profit organization. The main office is in Ramallah and the other branch offices are located in Gaza, and Jenin. MA’AN's work is informed by the necessity of creating independent, self-reliant initiatives that lead to the development of human resources for sustainable development, which incorporate values of self-sufficiency and self-empowerment.

MA’AN currently is implementing a project entitled “Promoting Inclusive Livelihoods in the Gaza Strip. The project is funded by GIZ and will support for inclusive livelihood models that aims to support people with disabilities (PWDs) and other vulnerable groups to gain and maintain income generation opportunities that are tailored to their abilities and needs, while also addressing the societal barriers they face in gaining and maintaining such opportunities.

• MA’AN is seeking the services of a professional and highly qualified consultancy firm to conduct a detailed mapping study to identify specific livelihoods/ professions that have high participation level of PWDs. As result; 5 livelihoods/ professions will be identified and assessed to inform the development of locally relevant livelihood models that are more inclusive for PWDsInterested consultant firms can review the full ToR for this consultancy and get a copy from it from MAAN-Gaza Gaza strip starting from 21st  August  2023  –28th  August 2023  and submit offer in two sealed envelopes; one for the technical offer and another one for the financial offer by 29th   August 2023  (before 12:00 pm) at MAAN Office Gaza-Haidar Abd Al Shafi Square- Al Motaz 2 Building –Ground Floor- Next to Blood Bank Building Tele 08- 2823712
