MARKET REPORTING
The Palestinian Agricultural Relief Committees (PARC) is a leading Palestinian Agricultural Development Organization that was established in 1983. Since its establishment, PARC has been efficiently engaged in Palestinian land development, water resources & environment, poverty reduction and women empowerment, olive oil marketing, as well as other crucial rural development programs.
In accordance with its mandate, PARC will be implementing a project titled "Resilience and Economic Growth in Gaza Strip in the Agricultural Sector 2020-2023" that aims to Improve the livelihoods of youth and farmers in the Gaza Strip through enhancing their chances to access to market. The project is funded by EU through AECID.
Re- offer No: 30/2023-Q / MARKET REPORTING
PARC is seeking a highly qualified individual to produce 12 market reports based on the agricultural sector in the Gaza Strip, including but not limited to value chains for bees and honey, onions, and poultry. Each of the 12 reports should be based on a clear topic and will be presented to PARC team regularly during the assignment period.
The individual consultant is expected to monitor, assess, evaluate, and report the status of the agricultural market players, the changes within the market, the relationship among them, and any fluctuations in these relationships. The essence of the report should reflect actionable interventions at the market system level.
Note: This consultancy is open only to individuals and not firms or companies.
Consultant Minimum Qualifications
The applicant must have the resources, ability and technical expertise to deliver the reports at the required quality. Where the following minimum requirements must be met:
- Bachelor degree in relevant field (Master degree is preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of value chain analysis in Gaza Strip
- Strong analytical, research and presentation skills
- High capacity in report writing
- Strong background in agriculture sector.
- Fluency in writing skills in English is a must.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO TENDER
- The submitted offers should be in Euro excluding VAT.
- The submitted offer is binding to the individual nor the tender offer may be withdrawn after submission and remains binding by a period of three months starting from the date of the offer.
- Offer documents should be delivered by hand (Soft and Hard Copies).
- Late applications will not be accepted
- The offers must be sealed and stamped/signed.
SUBMITTALS:
Interested applicants have to submit for the evaluation the following documents in hard and soft copies:
- Technical offer with all supporting documents (consultancy understanding, working methodology, CV, etc.).
- Financial offer in Euro using the templet in ToR.
TENDER SUBMISSION DATE:
Interested qualified consultant(s) are encouraged to submit their applications should be submitted in hand at PARC office at Al Zitoun area, Salah Al Dein St., Gaza on 25 April 2023 before 02:00 PM. Applications submitted beyond this date will be disqualified immediately.
Note/ Pre-bid meeting will be conducted on Tuesday, 18th April 2023 at 11:00 AM At PARC office.
