Organizing a TECH Camp
الوصف
The Ministry of Education developed an "ICT in Education" Plan for 2022 where STEM-related activities (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) were identified as one of its priorities to ensure children and youth acquire the digital skills needed for the 21st century.
In this context, UNESCO is implementing a project “Improving Student Skills for Innovation and Sustainable Development through STEAM and Coding in Palestinian Schools.” funded by the Government of Japan. The project supports the Ministry of Education by building students’ skills for STEM, coding and sustainable development and encourage innovation among youth. It will create a cohort of students who are capable of leading in promoting STEM through strengthening their ability to integrate and apply knowledge and skills related to STEM; nurturing their creativity and problem-solving skills; and supporting them to share the experience with others and disseminate their knowledge.
You are invited to submit an offer for organizing a TECH Camp for students at the Jericho Agro-Industrial Park (JAIP) in Palestine for six days, aimed at strengthening the students’ capacities in coding, robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) and enhancing their skills for innovation and sustainable development, using a STEM approach and project-based learning.
