 Purpose:

The primary objective of this advertisement is to get qualified enumerators/data collectors list to undertake assessments and routing data collection activities that are being implemented by Oxfam. Successful candidates might participate in data collection activities; assessments/surveys for Oxfam in Gaza.

 Main responsibilities and duties:

• Strict commitment to attend of Oxfam Training Package that will include the followings: Data collection techniques and skills, Data protection requirements,  Field safety and security requirements, Safe programming, Using the mobile case application for data collection, and Data collection tools
• To collect a variety of information from the targeted households.
• Conduct the baseline and household verification with the targeted beneficiaries in Gaza Strip.
• Conduct the Payment verification with the targeted beneficiaries in Gaza Strip.
• Conduct the Post distribution monitoring (PDM) with the targeted beneficiaries in Gaza Strip.
• Support the interviewee in understanding the question clearly.
• Recognize and give an account of problems in obtaining data; in consultation with the Oxfam MEAL team.
• Provide day-to-day progress updates to OXFAM and local partners’ MEAL focal points.
• Review gathered data, and perform corrections if required.

Background and Skills

• Relevant Diploma or Bachelor's degree in data management and/or social work.
• Prefer Good writing in English for data collection.
• Previous experience in data collection in the field of humanitarian and development work.
• Good knowledge and experience of using computers for data entry.
• expertise to enter, transcribe, record, sorting, or maintaining data in written or electronic forms.
• Good knowledge and experience in using Microsoft excel.
• Skills of communication with communities. 
• Ability to pay full attention to what others are saying, understand the points made, and ask            appropriate questions.
• Good observation skills to obtain useful data from related resources.
