Private Sector Development Programme
Private Sector Development Programme (PSDP)
Call for Proposals: Identify an Expert Pool of national-level senior and junior experts to enable the Green Growth Palestine Project (GGP) to efficiently and effectively analyze and address multiple needs and deliver a diverse set of services and solutions specified for four target sectors: Food Processing, Building and Construction, Recycling & Stone and Marble.
The Private Sector Development Program (PSDP), implemented by the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) in the Palestinian Territories and funded by the German Ministry of International Cooperation and Development (BMZ), aims to strengthen the economic development in the Palestinian Territories and to improve the competitiveness and resilience of Palestinian businesses with a special focus on SME (Small to Medium Sized enterprises).
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is implementing the project “Green Growth Palestine” (GGP), co-financed by the European Union (EU) under the “Private Sector Development Programme” (PSDP)
Through The GGP project, Germany is taking the lead in the Green Economy component of the Team Europe Initiative (TEI) “Sustainable Growth, Jobs and Resilience”, which recognizes the pivotal role of the private sector in powering Palestine’s green transition. This brings the vision of the European Green Deal into the context of Palestine as a “new green growth strategy” towards a “fair and prosperous country” and “towards a society with a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy”.
The GIZ’s Sector Development Programme (PSDP) is therefore broadening its scope through the GGP, which aims to. i) Support Palestinian MSMEs in their adoption of sustainable production and consumption methods; ii) Facilitate access to green finance; and iii) Support the political partner, MoNE, in enhancing framework conditions that foster the green transition.
Within this context, GGP seeks qualified locally registered companies to submit their bids to carry out the assignment.
